North Shore Elder Services Logo Ways to Help

There are many ways to help support our mission at North Shore Elder Services- once a week or once a year. Whether you want to make a donation to our Emergency Needs Fund, advocate for us at the State House, or volunteer to visit a client once a week, your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Giving helps the most-needy clients at North Shore Elder Services. Contributions truly make life easier for elders in difficult circumstances. Tax-deductible gifts can be made in the name of a loved one, a business, an organization, or to honor a caregiver or volunteer. Click here to learn more about your giving options and NSES fundraising events.

Volunteer to enrich your life, as well as the lives of elder community members. We welcome you to join over 200 volunteers helping elders in a variety of ways. From friendly visitors and food shoppers to helping out with the Inspired Gift and fundraising events -we have a volunteer opportunity to fit the skills, interests and schedule of anyone who wants to give the gift of time. Click here to visit our volunteer opportunities page.

Get Informed by checking out our selection of recommended books on caregiving, Alzheimer’s, and other aging issues. North Shore Elder Services will receive a percentage of the proceeds when you make a purchase through the Amazon link located on our Library and Resources page.

Advocacy is the on-going effort to fulfill our mission. Together we give a greater voice to people who may not be able to effectively advocate for themselves. The NSES Advocacy Team may be called upon to contact local legislators or even attend a State House rally to increase support around issues for the elderly and adults with disabilities.
