Information: The Information Services Department offers free information and advice on all aspects of elder care and aging to elders, family members, professionals and the community.
- Was your parent just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and you have no idea where to begin?
- Are you looking for somewhere for your aunt to dine with others?
- Is your sister in the hospital unexpectedly and desperate for a haircut?
- Do you worry about your elderly neighbor?
With access to thousands of elder care resources, we provide our callers with the resources they need. We’re also able to process referrals to any program we offer. Whether you are looking for assistance for personal care or money management, the Information Services staff can take your information and support you in your search for services.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can:
- Guide you through the extensive aging resources available and help you obtain the most appropriate and current information. The service is free and you can call as often as needed.
- Refer you to services both locally and across the country. We offer referrals for in home assistance, health care and other professional services.
- Offer information on aging related issues, elder care services, community programs and more.
- Advise you on setting up elder care services, planning for long-term care issues and other sensitive aging topics.
